I know that I am in the minority here but I've always loved Escape From Alcatraz.
I thought he played that character perfectly - almost as if he really was the dude that the film was based on.
I've loved Clint's whole career and he still puts out quality stuff!
Another one that I REALLY like a lot is Gran Turino.
He is perfect as the gruff but lovable old man.

Yeah, I know, I'm probably the last person on earth that still has a VCR.  But in my defense, it's a combo VCR DVD player.

Sorry to burst your bubble but we've got one too.
In fact, up until last year when we finally got the whole house DVR we were still taping stuff on our other TV to watch stuff at our leisure.
But we still have it hooked up just in case there are ever more than 4 shows on at the same time that we want to record (doubtful).

I thought that was a pretty good movie, although the cinematography was way too dark, but I guess it kinda had to be.

I just watched Trouble With the Curve last night.  Pretty predictable, but well done.  All the acting was very good, great supporting cast.  I find myself liking Justin Timberlake in spite of myself.

Definitely agree with your assessment of Clint as the gruff old man.

I have not had the pleasure of seeing Trouble With The Curve yet.
But I have heard a lot of geat things about it.
And although I don't care at all for Timberlake's music I didn't mind his acting ability in that Facebook movie.
