Rep. Jean Schmidt, a Republican from Ohio, also accused the administration of lying. Key Republicans on the Senate Armed Services Committee are calling for a broader investigation into the attack on Benghazi and vowing to block UN Ambassador Susan Rice from becoming Secretary of State, if she should be nominated, because of her initial comments about the fatal incident. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., discusses."This administration continues to put out things that are just not quite true," she claimed. |

Stacey Dash Pens Open Letter After Romney LossCiting the economy, the actress expresses disappointment at the election results. Mitt Romney may have conceded the election to President Barack Obama with grace and brevity, but some of his supporters have more to say. Stacey Dash, who came [under fire] last month for expressing her support of the Republican candidate, has penned a 1,344-word open letter detailing her disappointment at his loss. Titled "2013," the letter, released in entirety to [TMZ], begins with Dash's assertion that "like many other citizens of the United States, I have been worried and upset by the tremendous downturn in the economy, and the slow path to recovery." "The main objective of our nation must be repairing the economy," she continues. "All our social concerns must come after this. Without a stable economy our great nation fails." Despite her preference for Romney, Dash had a few kind words for President Obama, who she calls "brilliant, understated, ethical [and] a great husband and father." Still, Dash contends that the country now needed Romney's "bipartisan success as governor of Massachusetts." "I feel a desperation for the country. The fact is, that when the two parties are not working together, it makes things worse! Bring me a leader from either party that can get this unstuck," she wrote. "Non-partisanship is what will get Americans back to work and the homeless back on their feet." Dash also addresses the hateful rhetoric floating around after her public endorsement of Romney over Obama. "I do not want to be a part of the hateful voices insulting each other. I want to be a part of the voices that helps shape the future. Don’t you?" she mused. "Perhaps I publicly endorsed Romney from a slightly naïve place, thinking that I could speak my voice without being criticized in such racially charged and hateful tones." Still, upon hearing confirmation of Obama's victory, she offered her congratulations to the second term POTUS. "Although I am disappointed that Governor Romney and Congressman [Paul] Ryan did not win, I am hopeful that President Obama will lead us to becoming the great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that thrives," the actress concluded. Good morning all you Liberal/Progressives. Nice to see the White House in full spin mode following the Benghazi hearings yesterday, with our sex scandal General due to testify today, this could be interesting. Funny to be seeing France take the lead in trying to quell the potential Mid East war brewing, guessing our Commander in Chief has better things to do...golf anyone. |

mustbegood, this part is great news. Why do we have to always take the lead in these matters? Let Europe, Japan, China, Russia, anyone else with a stake in the region take the lead once in a while. Anything is better than continuing to throw our money and people at a problem that is not exclusively ours. |

Anything is better than continuing to throw our money and people at a problem that is not exclusively ours. With Israel our "only" true friend in the region, why would we not be fully involved in trying to quell a potential regional war? From the sound of it, we are not even at the table. I do agree we should not be throwing our military into harms way, but having the "implied threat" of US involvement is vital to Israel's continued existance, do you not agree? |

I'd like to think that maybe, just maybe, we would have learned from our failures playing police force of the world. From the sound of it, we are not even at the table. I wish. I do agree we should not be throwing our military into harms way, but having the "implied threat" of US involvement is vital to Israel's continued existance, do you not agree? Nope. Though the way you wrote that makes it sound like Israel is a welfare dependant, LOL. |

Instead of a check we send them all a card that says F U.Works for me, I mean we can say we've tried to help, but how long do we keep doing to same thing with bad results until we finally say, forget about it. A trillion dollars spent since 2002 on re-building and policing other countries, that's insane. |
