I found another story online, 'Pioneer Valleyist' by Tom Devine, that said there was a documentary film called 'Free Spirits' about The Renaissance Community.

Thanks for the nice words guys.  He's definitely an interesting man.  He still looks pretty much the same, except the red locks and beard are now mostly grey, but his spirit has remained unsullied by the years.


Cobra, I've seen the documentary you mentioned, it's very well done.  Dale is one of the former members interviewed in the film.

Yes, that's me at 25 in 1986, wearing a True Confessions Tour shirt.  My wife went through a bunch of photo albums the other day and found pictures that I'd forgotten about. 
I was really hoping to find the picture I have with me and Springsteen, taken when I was 22.  I don't want to tell the story of how it happened until I can post that picture with the story.
