Hello to all my CBS.Sports.com Brother's and Sister's, Happy Sunday to you. We hope that you have a really Blessed day......

I wanted to let you all know with a ton of conflict in my heart it looks like I won't be doing Pick the Pole this year. I know the game doesn't have a ton of participants but still scoring twice per each NASCAR race gets a bit time consuming.

Just turning 56 and getting my feet back with the Docs help and HGH after over 5 months of injuries it has really opened my eyes that I need to get healthier. We also want to get more involved with Gods work and Habitat for Humanity once my feet are strong. Not trying to write a book of excuses just think my season is over with the Game on CBS and it saddens me. I have had a great time and really enjoy all the different personalities that I can call friends now, it's been a real Blessing.

I truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into this fun game over the last few years and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You did a great job. Running a Nascar game week after week for 8 to 9 Months of the year can be quite the burden, I know.

Get yourself well and lets continue in our own ways to do what's most important in life. Fight the good fight Brother, love ya!

AZ, I understand where you are coming from as this may be my last go around with the Loser's game.  I love the game but the time is quite a bit.

Besides as you know NASCAR has thrown away over 60 years of tradition this season by allowing a car that doesn't exist, and never will exisit on the track.  I know there are some that will call me out on that, but you, being a true die hard fan and participant of the sport knows exactly what I mean.  It saddens me to see this sport go down this path of concept cars and no regard to tradition and not even one NASCAR mouthpiece, or so called journalist, having the guts to call Mike Helton and Brian France out on this.

Oh, well, sorry for the rant, hope to you for the best, and with God's love you will thrive in your new endevors.



  BTW I'll join you in the 56 club come May.

Mikey - nothing wrong with those picks, they are solid. I can't wait to see the pay back to Jeff Gordon from Phoenix if Jeff is in it for the Championship at the end of this year.
