One could make the argument that lemeauix was better than Gretzky bc he had better points per game stats. Nobody claims this bc he didn' t have the longevity. This along with winning defines greatness. Moss and lemeauix may have the best pure talent but they are are not the greatest. Moss claims this bc deep down he knows he is a career underachiever who will always be insecure with his legacy. Unlike lemeauix and maybe sterling sharpe,who could have been the greatest, moss can't use injuries as an excuse

Jerry Rice was such a hard worker, that he'd spend more time and effort to make one smelly fart than Moss would work and try to be a football player over the course of his entire career.

Moss is certainly one of the best all-time. Him saying it doesn't bother me.

On the plays he actually tried hard, he was dynamite. The other 75% of the time, not so much.

Greatest ever - Jerry Rice. I'll entertain arguments for Don Hutson who was the Jerry Rice of his day AND invented the route tree that recievers still use to this day.

I'm worried about the Niners.  Yesterday, it was Alex Smith or his people leaking that he wants the Niners to release him.  Now it's Randy Moss mouthing off.  Meanwhile, there hasn't been much of a peep volunteered by the Ravens.  The Niners need to shut up and focus on this next game.
