With his $10 million in salary and bonuses he's pretty much gone next year so we can keep younger guys on the team.  But Rodgers brings up some good points.  Woodson's leadership was a large part of the Super Bowl win.  He's like an extra coach out there.

He helped Tramon Williams rise from an UDFA to starter.  He's also been integral in helping Sam Shields, Davon House, and now Casey Hayward.  You can see Woodson's impact on their play.

Still, $10 million is too much to pay if it jettisons some promising youth on the team.  When it's all said and done, if the money is there, keep him.  If it's not, try to renegotiate.

I'm in favor of Woodson coming back. I'm not impressed at all by any of the other safeties.

Thats becuse theyre not impressive. A slowing Woodson is lightyears better than some crappy rookie.
