Go Ravens!
The Super Bowl is no place for a rookie QB. This kid needs to learn how to fail before he can succeed. |

Essentially he is. Did he play at all last year? 2nd year players are not rookies. An aspiring sports writer should know these things. |

You're only fooling yourself if you think it was just Celtic fans on here last year saying it.

You're only fooling yourself if you think it was just Celtic fans on here last year saying it. I kind of turned a deaf ear to the Miami Heat fans a long time ago anyway - It's not as if they have ever said anything worth reading anyway. When I see a thread started by HMS for example, I just move on and disregard it as complete garbage. What happens is that other players have the talent, step up and and adjust for the player's absence. Boston playing good, but without Rondo, I don't think they could sustain the level of play they are currently at and likewise the Bulls won't go anywhere without Derek Rose. The biggest difference, however is Derek Rose is injury prone and doesn't have enough help and never will in Chicago. Doc Rivers knows how to make a game with scrubs better then any coach in the NBA - lol |

Well what do you know? The coward himself finally shows up. What's the matter, can't get your delusional internet fame on this board anymore? Bulls have been good. Unlike most teams, they have a GM that has a clue. They've been able to sustain the loss of Rose very well. With that being said, they are not an elite team without Rose. The Celtics WITH Rondo had no chance to beat the Heat this year. As far as I'm concerned the Bulls are the only team in the East that has a chance to beat Miami. Rose coming back could put them over the top if he's not asked to do too much.
It's adult swim hour here. Now go back to your cave little boy. |

Sorry Cane. I was consoling all the women you've stalked. Does your boss know you're on the internet? Get back to washing those pots pill boy.

Bulls have no shot with Rose. His shot chucking will doom them again.

How does a team with two future hall-of-famers start 20-23? Rondo does nothing but hurt a team these days. Overrated.

All I know is Rondo led the C's to Game 7 of the conference finals months ago without another elite player on the team. Rose can't even win two conference finals games with homecourt. LOL. Rondo will use the off time to polish his ring. Where's yours at Derrick buddy?

Rondo will use the off time to polish his ring. Where's yours at Derrick buddy? ...And Rose isn't going to refine his game with all the time off? The 'ole double standard at its finest. Let's just call Rondo's injury that whole "karma" thing after you mocked Rose getting hurt last May. |

Celtics CLEARLY better without RondoFebruary 3, 2013 11:23 pm
Why would rose getting hurt be karma for the Celtics..... You realize how karma works don't you?
I do something bad and then bad stuff happens to me....
The celtics had nothing to do with rose .... In fact if anyone deserves bad karma it's coach tibbs for leaving him in. In a blow out trying to get a triple double to pound his chest
Then the sixes eliminated him
That is karma

Obviously you don't live near Chicago and therefore don't have a clue. That's how Thibs coaches. He's a 48-minute coach regardless of the score. He wasn't showing off the other team or running up the score.
And don't use "the Celtics only play well when it matters" excuse. To me, that shows lack of heart. Facts are facts and the Celtics started just 20-23 with Rondo in the lineup. I'm actaully a fan of his game, but I think SoxCeltsPatsBs nailed it in the head when he said Rondo's ego has gotten in the way at times in recent years. As far as Rondo's ring is concerned, I don't give a damn about that. Bill Wennington has three rings. I guess that means he too is better than Rose. |

No I don't live in Chicago...your a Pacers fan so neither do you... Unlike the pacers tibbs did some coaching with the Celtics as wcf has mentioned he has a polished ring
If Tom Brady stays in to throw a fifth touchdown pass he's pounding his chest its not okay but tibbs was just coaching.... Right...
Secondly you completely deflected from your utter lack of understanding of the concept of karma.
You say it shows a lack of heart? Did you see the playoffs last year... Did you see the celtics give the Heat a bigger run for their money then the Thunder...l
Your a bitter pacers fan that can't hold an argument or a point I suggest you hand me the shovel before that hole your digging yourself into gets to deep to climb out of

No I don't live in Chicago...your a Pacers fan so neither do youOK genius, go ahead and google Chesterton, Indiana and see where it is on the map. You say it shows a lack of heart? Did you see the playoffs last year... Did you see the Celtics give the Heat a bigger run for their money then the Thunder...And yet the result was the same - They lost. Had they actually tried during the regular season they would have had home court against the Lakers, and they probably would have won. But no... Utter lack of heart and utter lack of guts. |

*Yawn* 17 rings and got one with Rondo as well. Wake me up when Rose gets one. And when you stop washing dishes. Pop some pills for me.

Obviously you don't live near Chicago and therefore don't have a clue. That's how Thibs coaches. He's a 48-minute coach regardless of the score. He wasn't showing off the other team or running up the score. And he got his one and only perimeter scorer and playmaker on the entire team hurt by coaching that way. Kind of a dumb way of coaching. |

Yea and big baby nearly took the Celtics to the ecf when kg went down. Lets gain a little bit of perspective here. The celtics play well when they realize $hit is hitting the fan. Remember when they took the first half of the season off, and then ca,w within 12 minutes of beating the Lakers in the finals?
I hate it as a fan, but lets hold off on the knee jerk reactions, people were saying cousins would be a good fit for revitalizing the celtics and then old man kg goes out and puts him in his place.

Using actual logic, the Celtics are 4-0 since Rondo went down. Clearly Rondo's ego has held the team back this season. The guy is such a scrub. The Heat win at home is impressive. Beating Sacramento, Orlando, and the Clippers who are without their point guard (who is better than Rondo) ALL at home is what Boston should do even without Rondo. We will see what happens long term. They can only do so much in the playoffs without Rondo (if they get there). They don't have as much upside in the playoffs without Rondo. |

This period at least gives us a chance to see Green's and Lee's value. It may humble Rajon enough and he probably wont be able to have unproductive swagger.

*Yawn* 17 rings and got one with Rondo as well.Live in th past if you must, but 20-23 was 20-23, and they're going to play much better without him. Wake me up when Rose gets one.I will, but given you're latest tendencies it's likely you'll be too cowardly to be around. |

I hope the C's continue to play well without him. Hell go get ring number 18 while they're at it. Rondo's not losing that ring anytime soon. Derrick Rose better start finding a team he can play sidekick to though.

Tanking the regular season to rest up for the Playoffs - Sorry, but that shows lack of heart considering how much money they make.as opposed to going as hard as you can when it doesnt matter only to fizzle out when it matters? |
