Here ya go, SECFAN - Fla/LouisvilleFebruary 6, 2013 10:49 am
The SEC had 6 teams ranked in the top 10 in the final BCS standings. Now you want to make the case that the SEC is down because 2 of the 6 lost their bowl games?
Considering who they played and the "strength" of the conferences that Louisville & Clemson are from, then yes that is exactly what I am saying. By the way, if what you say is true, what does it say about the BIG 12 when BOTH their co-champs got curb stomped in their bowl games? FLA and LSU were NOT the SEC champ, nor SEC division champs. Guess the fact OU was ranked 11th negates your whole "rare for a conference that had 2 top 10 teams to fall with their bowl games." Give me a break. I believe this thread has absolutely nothing to do with the Big 12 rankings. You and Gator Lass make quite the pair with your deflection. |

Considering who they played and the "strength" of the conferences that Louisville & Clemson are from, then yes that is exactly what I am saying. So 2 SEC teams ranked in the top 10 LOST to the teams they played and the "stregnth" of the conferences that LOUIS and CLEM are from, is the basis for the SEC being down? WORKS FOR ME! |

I believe this thread has absolutely nothing to do with the Big 12 rankings. You and Gator Lass make quite the pair with your deflection. That's the point red. You brought up the fact that 2 top 10 SEC teams lost their bowl games. What does that have to do with the thread topic? Lass and I did not bring that up you did. Since the thread was created for me, let me refresh your memory with the original question posed. How would you describe the Louisville/Florida bowl game? Talk about deflection. Nice try. |
