Hell yeah it would definitely be a great move. The only question is will another team loosen up the purse strings by such an amount that Harvin won't even think NE. Our Pats aren't exactly known for over paying their receiving corps.

duh, i worded that like a moron as sometimes my brain works alot faster than my typing skills. Point is that he only has a year left in his contract so then what? What would a trade cost us for a season's rental?

Harvin is headache and BB wont bring in someone like that. He's also going to want top WR money something BB and the Patriots wont offer either. This whole idea will never happen. You can say BB brought in Moss and Talib, but they needed those guys at the time. The Pats don't need Harvin. He would help, but if they bring back Welker they don't need him.

My big concern is pretty simple. The last thing the Pats need is yet another elite offensive player who won't be there in the playoffs. He misses a lot of time.
